Welcome to Wellness Dish

This site has been a couple years in the making and is very near and dear to my heart, as its essentially an outpouring of all that’s been in my head over the last couple years. As I spent much time researching sites, reading articles and books, blogs, and devouring whatever I could find to help me understand better what I was dealing with, I continued to feel more and more overwhelmed by all the information (and contradictory opinions) that I was running across. So, my goal with this site is to help those stumblers (and hopefully followers!) to have a more concise resource tool for a quick search or tip, a recipe, a helpful resource, a local allergen-friendly hot spot, etc. As I figure how to integrate the different technologies I’m using personally to this site, I intend to integrate Yelp, Facebook groups, Yahoo groups, RSS feeds, blog posts and more. What I don’t want to do is create a site that is just as overwhelming as all the others though! So, I imagine that the content that I’m writing now will change, that my focus and direction might change a bit too as it unfolds. For now though, I hope the site provides help and encouragement for those of you who also find yourself on a path similar to mine. A path of learning about various health issues, how to beat them, and how to prevent them from coming back. As well as how to live, and love living, a healthier life!
